The exhibition
Spain is a global leader in food production and exports. This position has turned its territory, natural resources and the people who live there into components of a system driven by maximum profitability, at the expense of ecological limits and fundamental rights.
Hasta que la tierra aguante is a visual and journalistic investigation that travels across inland Spain to reveal the environmental, social and public health consequences of a food production model based on intensive exploitation.
The project examines the impact of agriculture and livestock farming on the climate, water resources, soils and working conditions, while also questioning the urban patterns of consumption that sustain this system.
