Workers of Bankers Petroleum in the oil field of Marinëz. In order to extract the crude from under the soil the refineries use different techniques including fracking as of most recently in the south of Albania. The introduction of fracking has resulted in the regular earthquakes destroying the homes of 71 residents and damaging 540 more during the last decade. Bankers Petroleum made a donation to help rebuild some of the homes but has not claimed responsibility. May 2019.

Centrado en retratar las historias del medio ambiente, Jordi Jon es periodista y fotógrafo documental afincado en Barcelona.

Es uno de los fundadores de MÓN, una organización de periodismo visual centrada en historias de riesgo climático. Su interés por la imagen documental comenzó en la universidad, donde cubrió historias humanas, psicológicas y, finalmente, medioambientales. Jordi Jon persigue el acercamiento de las historias medioambientales a la sociedad, desde una perspectiva humanizadora, crítica y constructiva respecto al cambio climático. Jordi Jon es Explorer de National Geographic y su obra trata de abarcar publicaciones y centros de todo el mundo.
