RUIDO Photo is an organization made up of photographers, journalists, and designers who understand the documentary genre as a tool for reflection and social transformation. It is a platform from which to practice independent documentary work with a strong dose of social content and cultural commitment.

RUIDO Photo is a non-profit organization based in Barcelona and active on four different continents. It focuses on three interrelated fields of action: research and documentation; training and dissemination; and community dynamism practices. It works with the social issues of migration, conflict, and violence.

Since 2004 it has conceived projects that help to foster participation in, debate on, and awareness of human rights issues, seeking new and innovative methods of production and creation. It works in a range of formats, including photography, text, video, multimedia, books, films, exhibitions, community awareness campaigns, and blogs.
