Marcelo began his training in the visual arts in the 1980, with studies in fine art, action art, painting, drawing, etc. Since 2003 he has lived in Terrassa (Barcelona). In 2003 he traded in his brushes for a camera and since then has explored photography, participating in various collective exhibitions and projects. He is a cofounder of the online community Barcelona Photobloggers and of Caja Azul, devoted to critical reflection in the field of photography.
