Núria López Torres
She focuses her work on Human Rights and issues related to women, gender, sexualities, identities and violence. She addresses topics from social anthropology, turning some of his works into photographic essays.
She combines her personal projects with collaboration as a freelance in national and international media such as The New York Times, The Washington Post, El País Semanal, El Magazine La Vanguardia, XL Semanal, Yo Dona, Marie Claire, Gatopardo, GQ, CNN, The Guardian , Al-Jazeera, The Sunday Business Post, Newsweek Japan, GEO and Terra Mater, among others.
Her work has been exhibited in the Senate of Mexico, The Museum of Art of Querétaro in Mexico, the Museo América in Madrid, London Photo Festival, Angar-7 in Austria, Whitebox Gallery in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, at the Michael Horbach Foundation in Germany, the MAC Ibirapuera Museum in Brazil among others.
Bartur Photo Award 2022, POY Latam Award in 2021 in the Health category. POY Latam 2019 Award in the long multimedia section, Moscow International Foto Awards, LensCulture Portrait Award, Kuala Lumpur International Photo Awards Portrait, World Report Award among others.
Represented in Mexico by ArtSpace México Gallery and in the US by Institute Artists and ALRATITOstudio.
