Montse Campins
Barcelona, 1955
Montse’s interest in photography took her to California, where she earned an undergraduate degree in fine arts from the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena. While she was working as a fashion and advertising photographer, she became acquainted with a range of photographic expressions that widened her vision and have stimulated her curiosity since then. She taught at the Escola Universitària de Barcelona Dissenyi i Enginyeria (ELISAVA) and worked in publishing and commercial photography before turning to more personal projects. She has also devoted herself to socially engaged photography projects that have been exhibited in both individual and collective shows.
